Martin D’Amours – President

Mr. D’Amours is President of both Showcare and Laser Registration. Previously, he was on the Board of Directors of Laser Registration until it was merged with Showcare in 2006 and was directly involved in most of the steps that turned the company into a leader in the market. Mr. D’Amours brings 20 years of solid management experience to support the team at Showcare and Laser Registration. His track record includes 10 years with a large corporation in various cities and 10 years at the helm of small and medium technology and service companies, most recently at Avensys, where for the past several years now he has transformed what was initially an unprofitable and stagnant company into a profitable leader in its field with over $20M of revenue and more than 150 great people.

Ewa K. Boldok, MBA - Executive Director, Finance & Administration

Ewa holds an MBA and an Honours Degree in Business. She has worked and studied both in Canada and abroad. She brings over 15 years of experience in strategic and financial planning and management, business analysis, restructuring and business administration. She has proven herself to be a decisive leader who believes in a no nonsense approach and exhibits a positive, result oriented attitude of "rolling up her sleeves and getting things done". She thrives in a fast paced environment and particularly enjoys tackling challenges and solving problems. Prior to joining Showcare three years ago, Ewa spent 8 years as the Executive VP and Financial Controller of Sprague Foods Limited whose clients included the largest international names in the food industry. During that time she was central in turning the company around, developed new internal control processes and procedures, implemented several cost and time saving initiatives, and was vital to business management long-term.

Craig Giles – Vice President, Operations

Mr. Giles has over 17 years experience in the North American Conference & Exhibition industry. Prior to starting his career he was a graduate of the Convention and Tradeshow Management program at Fleming College. In his 14 years with Showcare Craig has held numerous positions and levels of responsibility ranging from Operations Coordinator, Exhibitor Services Manager, Operations Manager, and Director of Client Services to his current position of Vice-President of Operations. Prior to joining Showcare, Craig worked as a conference and exhibition organizer where he held positions in operations, sales and management for several independent event producers and associations. More recently Craig’s passion for event management drove him to test his entrepreneurial side when he founded and produced the first large scale conference and tradeshow in North America for people suffering from Allergies, Asthma and Food Sensitivities. Craig is also an active member of a number of industry related organizations such as IAEE, CAEM, MPI, PCMA and ESCA.

Mark Murphy - Executive Director of Technology

Mark has worked in the IT industry for over 15 years. Solid programming and development skills combined with his great work ethics, extensive experience, business sense and ability to think “out-of-the-box” resulted in successful career and peer recognition. His personality and patience also enable him to effectively teach and lead teams. For the past five years Mark’s hardworking dedication has been directed within Showcare IT and R&D departments to consistently provide clients with new and more efficient ways to get things done. Prior to working at Showcare, Mark spent years developing various Canadian government contracts, many business web applications, and creating dynamic voice-automated control systems for the lumber and manufacturing industry.

Kristian Lavereau – Vice President, Business Development

Kristian Lavereau has been responsible for the business development and marketing efforts of Showcare for three years. He has developed industry relationships into strong network of trusted colleagues who now rely on Showcare to deliver our services in Canada, the U.S. and internationally. As V.P. of Business Development at Showcare, Mr. Lavereau’s responsibility is focused on growing Showcare in both Canada and the U.S., as well as expanding internationally into Europe and the Middle East. Mr. Lavereau’s experience in strategic sales and marketing is being utilized in helping to determine the next service solutions we offer to our customers and which markets to enter globally.
