Importing leads into Excel

a. From Web Portal www.showcare.com

• Click on the " Download Leads" Tab
• Select the leads to download from drop down menu
• Once you have selected the leads you would like to download click the 'Download' button Click the 'Save' button

NOTE: The leads will save into a Microsoft Excel Comma Separated Values File. This is a compressed Excel file to quicken the download process. Please do not rename the file and make sure the file name finishes with the '.CSV' extension. Otherwise leads will not download properly.

b. From your disquette:

• Open EXCEL
• Click File
• Click Open
• Click on - Look in: Drop Down Menu, select A:\ Drive -
• Change Files of Type to ALL FILES. ( Files of type is found at the bottom of the box, below FILE NAME)
• Select trakker.txt file

****You are now in the TEXT IMPORT WIZARD****

• Make sure the radio button for DELIMITED is pressed. Click Next.
• Uncheck TAB, and place the check mark on COMMA. Click Next.
• The COLUMN DATA FORMAT can be changed depending on the column information. The default format is GENERAL and can be left as such.
• Click FINISH
