    Magnet Schools of America (MSA) is a national nonprofit education association that advocates for equity, access, and academic excellence through innovative magnet school programs. Serving educators, administrators, families, and community leaders, MSA leads the charge in public school choice and supports theme-based, high-quality learning environments across the country.

    The Challenge

    MSA had already built a successful foundation for event sponsorship growth. With the 2025 annual conference on the horizon, there was an opportunity to accelerate that progress and deepen impact.

    With just four months until the event and a lean internal team, MSA partnered with Showcare to retain sponsor relationships and expand the program’s impact. The challenge: move and deliver quickly, understand a new organization, and show value in a single-event sponsorship model within the education sector.

    The Opportunity

    Showcare activated its sponsorship playbook for MSA, tailored to the education audience. Workstreams covered targeted outreach and pipeline development, program design and package builds, fulfillment, and ongoing alignment of each opportunity with sponsor goals and member value.

    We introduced a relationship-based approach to sales, tailored packages to match each partner’s objectives, and expanded the offering beyond the annual event. Early renewals for 2026 and new options for MSA’s Policy Conference positioned the program for longer term impact.

    Results Achieved

    In just four months, the partnership delivered measurable growth in sponsorship performance:

    • Sponsorship revenue increased by 12.4% year over year, exceeding MSA’s original growth target
    • Average deal size grew by 42.7%
    • 33.3% of sponsors were net new to the program
